Directions

From Cape Town via N1

Take Exit 39, marked Klipheuwel/Stellenbosch/Malmesbury, and turn left onto the R302/4. 36 kms from this point turn right at the JOUBERTSKLOOF sign which also has our blue Fynbos sign. Travel approximately 3-4 kms along a dirt road towards the Paardeberg Mountain. Just past a dam and De Hoop farm on your right, turn right at the sign that says FYNBOS ESTATE. Continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.

From Cape Town via N7

From Cape Town take the N7 turn-off before Century City, and drive about 50 kms to the clearly marked Malmesbury turn-off. Here you circle left and, keeping left, pass under the bridge and drive past the Bokomo silos on your right. At the traffic lights where Bokomo Rd meets Voortrekker Rd, you turn right onto the R302 to Klipheuwel and Stellenbosch. You immediately cross a small bridge and travel 7.8 kms until the Joubertskloof turn-off. The actual sign has been knocked down but look for a large green sign for WELGEMEEND and our blue Fynbos sign. Turn left toward the Paardeberg Mountain and travel approximately 3-4 kms along a dirt road towards the mountain. Just past a dam and De Hoop farm on your right, turn right at the sign that says FYNBOS ESTATE. Continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.

From Cape Town Airport via R300 and N1

Leave the airport as if you were going to Cape Town. Just before the bridge which spans the N2, take the N2 turn-off left, to Somerset West. Travel some way until you see the R300 turn-off to the left. Follow the R300 for about 19 kms across the Cape Flats; the road veers left, and becomes the N1 to Paarl. Now look out for Exit 39, marked Klipheuwel/Stellenbosch/Malmesbury, and turn left onto the R302/4. 36 kms from this point turn right at the JOUBERTSKLOOF sign, and travel approximately 3-4 kms along a dirt road towards the Paardeberg Mountain. From Stellenbosch and Durbanville via R302/4

From Stellenbosch, take the R304. From the point at which this crosses over the N1, travel 36 kms to the JOUBERTSKLOOF sign. Then turn right, and travel approximately 3-4 kms along a dirt road towards the Paardeberg Mountain. Just past a dam and De Hoop farm on your right, turn right at the sign that says FYNBOS ESTATE. Continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.

From Durbanville, take the R302/4 to Klipheuwel

At Klipheuwel, turn left towards Malmesbury and drive 20 kms to the sign for the JOUBERTSKLOOF turn-off. Turn right, and travel approximately 3-4 kms along a dirt road towards the Paardeberg Mountain. Just past a dam and De Hoop farm on your right, turn right at the sign that says FYNBOS ESTATE. Continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.

From Wellington and Paarl via R45

From Paarl, take the R45 in the direction of Malmesbury. After about 36 kms, turn left onto a dirt road signposted PAARDEBERG. After about 8 kms, the dirt road crests a hill, and then - 500 metres further - brings you to the FYNBOS ESTATE signpost. Turn left here, and continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.

From  the Riebeek Valley and Tulbach

From the Riebeek Valley get onto the R46 (which comes from Hermon,Tulbach and Ceres).This goes over the Kasteelberg pass and ends at the T-junction where it meets the R45 (between Paarl and Malmesbury).  Turn left towards Paarl and after about 5kms you will come to a small electrical substation and a sign that says PAARDEBERG.  Turn right at the sign and travel about 8 kms to where the dirt road crests a hill.  500 metres further brings you to the FYNBOS ESTATE signpost at which you turn left.  Continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our signposted farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.

From  Malmesbury

The quickest route is along the R302/4 ( Klipheuwel road). This is an extension of Malmesbury’s main road (Voortrekker road) at the lower end of the town. Whether you come down Voortrekker road, or along Bokomo road to where it meets Voortrekker road, at the traffic lights you take the R302/ out of town. It is marked Durbanville, Klipheuwel, Stellenbosch. From the lights you travel 7.8  kms and  turn left at the WELGEMEEND sign (beneath which is also our small blue Fynbos sign). Drive approximately 3-4 kms along a dirt road towards the Paardeberg Mountain. Just past a dam and De Hoop farm on your right, turn right at the sign that says FYNBOS ESTATE. Continue along the road for just under 2 kms, at which point you enter our farm gate. Drive towards the farmhouse, with its red roof and blue trim. Turn left into the farmyard and proceed around the house to the entrance.
