| Nestling
beneath the sleeping Dragon’s Ridge, the Pavilion is a perfect venue
for a wide range of events and activities.
It has gentle views
in every direction of the surrounding vineyards, the Paardeberg
mountain and the lovely Fynbos pool.
The two-tiered Pavilion allows
for any arrangement of tables, chairs or cushions, and its wooden
floors invite comfort whether for group work, presentations,
retreats or celebrations.
Awnings can be lowered when necessary,
providing either an outdoor or indoor space, or a combination of the two.
The Pavilion offers seating for 65 to 80 people
under cover, and for many more outside on the patio and in the
courtyard.
It can be hired as an uncatered venue, or with Johan’s
legendary food complemented by delicious Dragonridge wines
Ideal for business workshops, training
events or conferences, the Pavilion offers breakaway spaces in the
many surrounding gardens or the farmhouse. Whiteboard and screen are
available on request.The Pavilion is wonderful for creative
events, concerts and book launches and is just right for retreats of
all kinds.
What could be more restful and meditative than this quiet
and beautiful place in an oasis of green. The peaceful nature of the
Pavilion and its sprung wooden floors lends itself to activities
such as yoga, karate and t’ai chi, bathrooms, for which shower
facilities are available.
And the Pavilion is a magical venue for
celebrations of all kinds: parties, end-of-year functions, weddings,
etc.
The wooden floors naturally invite dancing and merriment, the
open sides allow guests to spill out into the garden and to the pool
under the wide sky.
At night lit by lanterns the Pavilion, beneath
the Milky Way, provides an unparalleled atmosphere
Because of the
proximity to Cape Town, the Boland and the West
Coast, events that do not require over-night stay, are within easy reach.
For residential events, accommodation for up to eighteen guests is
available within 100 metres, at Fynbos Mountain Retreat. An
additional ten people can be accommodated at the next-door farm
during weekdays.
